After the North American based automaker has officially presented to the public the new Cadillac ATS at the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, the model is still attracting all the attention towards it. Our recent news is coming from theophiluschin.com, where a rendering of the ATS Wagon has been made, and we must admit that the model is quite appealing. The Cadillac ATS Wagon might hit the production line in the nearby future, along with a roadster model, which will also be based on the same platform, in order for the automaker to expand the lineup.
The direct competitor to the BMW 3-Series, the Audi A4 or the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the Cadillac ATS, is powered by a 2.5 liter naturally aspirated inline-four cylinder engine, which is generating a total output of 200 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 188 lb-ft. The model has an average fuel consumption of 30 mpg on the highway and it’s weighing 3.400 pounds. The optional 2.0 liter direct injected turbocharged engine, generating 270 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, will also be available on the Cadillac ATS sedan.
