Interesting Laws from Florida's Past

Recently, we came across a list of outdated and funny laws in Florida. We thought it would be fun to share them with you, and see if you knew of any others. Share them in a comment below and we will add them to the list.



Here are our favorites:

  1. Corrupting the public morals is defined as a nuisance, and is declared a misdemeanor offense.
  2. It is illegal to sell your children.
  3. It is illegal to sing in a public place while attired in a swimsuit.
  4. Men may not be seen publicly in any kind of strapless gown.
  5. Women may be fined for falling asleep under a hair dryer, as can the salon owner.
