Upon seeing the damaged paint on their newly-purchased 1949 Cadillac Series 62, the Thompson family opted to cover it in $382.95 worth of pennies. That's 38,295 pennies total! They had to raid their piggy banks, ask friends for donations, and contact the US Mint in order to get the car covered fully. We think it looks great! Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
